Its been a lovely break and now I am back shooting and meeting some wonderful new clients. This one is no exception. Beautiful family and beautiful little girl. The new studio space in Hampton Street, Hampton is coming along just fine although I am still finishing displays and such, the space suits me perfectly for accommodating gorgeous little clients like Miss Zara. I will post lots more soon, as I have some exciting new products and ideas in the works. How lovely it was to meet these two gorgeous girls. Mum recently had her fifth little one and I was lucky enough to photograph this beautiful baby girl so she would have her own set of baby photos, but also so we could photograph her in a very special knitted top. And the reason it was so special? Well, the wool came from a lamb her teenage cousin raised in WA and the precious cargo was then sent to Grandma in New Zealand who lovingly knitted this vest in time for this sweet little one to enjoy. Such a personal gift to treasure. Rx

Wonderful to be back in the studio. Not just any old studio. But my own brand new studio (marching band sounds)! Having worked from home for quite some time it is pretty exciting to make the transition to an ‘official’ place of work. I have been a busy little bee getting everything lovely so that when you come to visit me you will feel all loved up and spoilt. Not there yet, but very soon and I will have an official opening. This new space while practical, is still very intimate because thats how I like to work. I like you to feel that your session is all about you and your family and capturing what makes you unique. With this lovely space I know I can continue to maintain that feel. There will be lots of displays and wonderful products to look at. Super exciting new stuff that I know you will want to own. Although not quite finished, I have started shooting in this space, but nobody seems to mind that we are still a work in progress, especially not these super cool kids with their new baby sister to play with. In case you are wondering, I am still shooting on location and will post some of that soon. Rx

Trying to play catch up with my blog and I will start with this fun family photographic session. Heaps of fun and giggles and most of all loads of love was being shared in this gorgeous afternoon light. The weather is finally warming up in Melbourne after what has been a long chilly winter. These little darlings made me work twice as hard but I honestly had twice the fun. They are both beautiful in looks and nature. Mum had them dressed perfectly and even bought the sweetest knitted cardigan from Nan to be photographed in. It is really wonderful if I can include personal items in your images, so meaningful for you to enjoy now, and memories are lovingly recorded for when your children grow older. Rx

Another amazing family. I really loved this session, I have never, ever, seen two little girls so completely excited and joyful to be catching bubbles. It was difficult to keep the camera on them because I was laughing so hard. Although I admit I did keep the camera out for an extended time simply because they were such beautiful children to be around and capture. Rx

I felt especially privileged to photograph this wonderful family. Fran, grandmother to these gorgeous children contacted me from England to set up this special session. Families were meeting in Melbourne from all over the world and I was asked to capture this unique moment in their lives -all together for a brief celebration. Fran, as expected, was every bit as wonderful as I had imagined and it was such a pleasure to photograph children that although live world’s apart, connected with each other so easily.
